On Thursday evening, Elias received a request via email, whether he would be willing to put the interview on Saturday a French TV crew. Friday went by quickly, and on Saturday morning, the three visitors arrived by boat from here.

Elias answered questions about his motives in the Yukon to come, how it came about that he in Green Creek took root and why it now for 30 years living here. The interview was conducted in French. After our visitors made the afternoon on the way back, it was quiet again in Green Creek. Surrounded by gently drizzling rain, distant birdsong and the babbling of the brook, we thought about our unusual experience.
