After a night that was filled with bright lightning, rolling thunder and pouring rain, we started our clock at six in the morning on the way to check the Fischrad. It was drizzling still, ragged storm clouds were on the sky scattered and a new dark gray wall of rain approached us about downstream. The world around us was bathed in a diffuse orange mist.
When we arrived at Fischrad, we looked back to the house, the sun was just behind us rose up over the horizon and lit up the hill behind Green Creek - a double rainbow framed the scene.
